Are you the person who doesn’t want to do network marketing because they don’t want to chase their family and friends?

Well, my guess is that you probably like selling and making money.

What you don’t like is chasing people, hyping people and running after people.

Well, I’m gonna share with you some network marketing tips that I’ve learned over the past twenty years.

From a very simplistic standpoint, here is a simple fact I think you and I both believe. Nobody likes to be sold anything but people love to buy.

Right?

People love to buy.

Network Marketing Tips: Companies don’t get it!

Why is that every network marketing company teaches people to make a list and approach every family and friend that they have, every number in their cell phone book?

This is one of the reasons why I think network marketing has sometimes gotten a bad rap. People end up chasing people. That’s not fun for either party.

It’s not really the selling of a product, people love giving value and being compensated for that. But they hate the pushy sales type. You know the sleazy used car salesmen.

That’s one of the reasons why Carmax is such a thriving car dealership. It’s that it’s no hassle, no ‘wheeling and dealing’, the price that you get is the price that you get.

In network marketing, if you could shift from a pusher to a person that is a giver your world would change. Bob Burg wrote a great book called the Go-Giver, I highly recommend it.

Network Marketing Tips: Attraction Marketing

Adding value to the world of online marketing –network marketing – is referred to as attraction marketing.

What does attraction marketing mean?

It means that you are going to attract people to buy what you have or to join your company because they see value in it.

You have seen this a lot of websites – Dr. Mercola has one where he provides a ton of education on nutritional supplements then offers them for purchase.

In the offline world, studios offer FREE dance lessons so they can actually sell you a membership.

If you have kids, maybe you have taken your kids to some FREE taekwondo lessons. The owners absolutely are wanting you to enroll your kids in classes.

Why?

We want people to experience this before we buy. Once they experience it, and they see it, and they like it and trust, then they want to make more buying purchases.

When it comes to network marketing, you have to think about how can you add value to your community.

Who is your ideal prospect?

If they’re into nutrition, how can you offer them healthy living and eating tips?

If you are in travel, how can you provide maybe a blog post or a short video showing seven simple ways to go on vacation to Myrtle beach for pennies and a dollar.

Network Marketing Tips: Give value to people.

When you give value to people, there is something called the Law of Reciprocity.

If you give value to people, they are going to want to provide value to you which is money in a lot of cases.

Now attraction marketing is probably one of the hottest marketing strategies today.

Attraction marketing teaches you how to build an audience, how to engage with that audience and how to sell to that audience. Once you create an audience, you have a following of people that know they can trust you.

They are saying ‘hey give me what you got’, ‘I want the products’ or ‘I want to look younger’ or ‘I want to learn how to travel more’ or ‘I want to do whatever it is that you are selling’.

You are attracting people who want to buy what you have to sell. You are the hunted as opposed to the hunter. A big difference here.

It’s about adding value to your community as opposed to you posting your products or posting your company.  Many companies encourage their reps to post, post and repost which ends up being a bunch of noise on social media.

Did you know the average person gets hit with something like twenty or thirty thousand marketing messages every single day? It’s deafening.

It’s proven when you provide value and some entertainment along the way you will win over people.

Once you’ve got somebody’s intention, you can give them some real-world value, and not some hype or BS or some smoking mirrors. The result will be they are going to have a significant interest in what you have to offer them.

When you follow somebody and they become a trusted resource. And the odds have significantly increased that you will make a purchase.

Network Marketing Tips: Where do you put this content?

It makes the most sense to put the content you create where you hang out.  On Facebook, it could be a live video, it could be a YouTube video, it could be a blog post, or it could be an article. It could be some photos on Pinterest and how they so a particular thing that you are selling, it could be clothes, or it could be makeup.

Once you start building that audience and you start engaging with that audience, then the audience is going to want to follow you.

Prime Recruiting Season in Network Marketing BEGINS 

MARK YOUR CALENDAR WITH THE FOLLOWING DATE:

 

January 2, 2018:  next Prime Recruiting Season BEGINS 

Are you and your team ready to bring in the new year with a bang?  It’s a time of new year resolutions and new activity. It is the BEST time of year to build your business BUT, are you prepared?

 

Sadly, most people are not prepared.

7 Steps to prepare for the prime recruiting season.

 

Step 1, take inventory.

  • What have you accomplished in 2017?
  • What was your group’s volume growth?
  • Did you rank advance? If so how many times?
  • How many of your team members rank advanced?

 

Step 2, determine what worked best and what didn’t. Figure out what you personally need to do more of and what you need to do less of.

 

Step 3, ask your team leaders to evaluate themselves on Steps 1 and 2.

 

Step 4, decide to go to the next level in your business and figure out who else on your team wants to go to the next level.

 

Step 5, fill your pipeline NOW with prospects so when January 2nd comes you are running out the gate. What most people will do is start this evaluation process.  They will lose the first two weeks of productivity in January.

 

Step 6, fill in the tools and training gaps for your team. Now, this step should not be all on you. Work with your leadership both above you and below you to position yourself for massive success.

 

Step 7, prepare yourself mentally.  Believe it or not this is the MOST important step. You must be able to see yourself and your business achieving your goals, helping others win and you are getting fulfilled by doing the process.

 

It doesn’t really matter what company you are in, your success will be a reflection on your ability to bring your company’s products and services to the marketplace.

 

Choose to be SUCCESSFUL!

The sad truth is that the overwhelming majority of the people who read this will not prepare for the coming Prime Recruiting Season, nor will they work diligently and consistently through the Prime Recruiting Season. That’s the way it’s always been and that’s the way it will always be.

 

It’s called “human nature”.

 

Only a very small percentage of network marketers who read this will do what is necessary to get ready for the next Prime Recruiting Season. Those people will earn large sums of money as a result.

 

In network marketing — as with anything — the “doers and achievers” represent just a fraction of a small percentage of people in the industry.

 

What are you committed to achieving by 2018?

 

Make no mistake. This business will change your life IF you let it.

 

I invite you to ask yourself these two questions you should ask yourself every day:  “Who REALLY needs me to bring my “A Game’ in 2018? What am I committed to accomplishing?”

 

It may not always be an easy journey, I can assure you it will be a journey that is rewarding financially and fulfilling emotionally when you give it all you got everyday. Success is indeed a choice.

How to get past your fear of rejection?

Begin with this affirmation: what people think of me is NONE of my business.

Fear of Rejection is the single greatest reason why people don’t make money in this business.

By actually going out and Inviting Rejection, you can overcome your fear in stages:

  1. You get it and it bothers you
  2. You get it and it doesn’t bother you
  3. You get it and turn it to your advantage

 

Go to amazon or eBay right and buy the book Go For NO, by Richard Fenton.

People of success simply have had more rejection or No’s.

Did you know Babe Ruth had the most strikeouts the year he had most home runs?

Did you know that if you strike out 7 out of 10 times that you will make in the Baseball Hall of Fame?

You can reach the top of your pay plan simply by talking to more people. You MUST be consistent with this approach.

And it is critically important that you track your percentages so you can improve upon them.

Insider tip: when you recruit someone keep going because your energy is high and odds are you’ll get another.

Just because someone says NO that doesn’t mean it is a NO forever. It could just mean NOT NOW.

If someone is a jerk, then they do not get the privilege of working with me. Why do I say privilege?  Because when you join my team I put a tremendous amount of my effort helping to succeed.

And it feels good to say ‘NO’ to people you prospect. It helps your confidence believe it or not.

I don’t beg people.

You don’t need uncoachable people.

Be sure to qualify people for your time.

95% of all employees are not satisfied with their job according to a recent survey by INC Magazine.

Have a NO goal.

If you get 2 NOs a day you will build a HUGE business.

Following up on your NOs.

Why Follow-Up

  • 2% of Sales are Made on the First Contact
  • 3% of Sales are Made on the Second Contact
  • 5% of Sales are Made on the Third Contact
  • 10% of Sales are Made on the Fourth Contact
  • 80% of Sales are Made on the Fifth to Twelfth Contact!

Commit To Getting 5-12 NO’s Per Contact

Sift and sort look for people who are looking for what you have.

Set your NO goal.  Stretch yourself. Say less to more people.

7 Step Attraction Marketing Method

What is Attraction Marketing?

Simply put it is a strategy that ‘attracts’ prospects to you because you have what they are looking for.

It is rejection free because these prospects are looking to you for answers to their problems.

If this is something you would like to have happened to you then consider implementing these 7 steps into your marketing.

Step 1 Brand YOU

You must be the attraction.
People join people, NOT companies.

People are looking for leadership to help them solve problems. Therefore, you must provide value to your marketplace and position yourself as a problem solver.

This site is a perfect example.  My passion is to help people to create a better quality of life with a home business. If you have not seen my story check it out under the ‘About Me’ section.

Here’s what I know about people in our profession. They need a constant follow of new people to talk to about their products and business.

In 22 years of being full time in this industry, I’ve been with 6 companies. In the first 3 years, two of the 3 went out of business. My fourth business was where I hit it big and developed MASSIVE team all over the world. I’ve been with them now for 20 years.

But, because the management team makes choices that did not align with my integrity, I walked away.

The take-home lesson is that companies and their management teams come and go. We have no control over their policies and procedures or what they do or your company will be here a year from now. It goes without saying you are here to stay.

One more thing, it’s important.

Attraction Marketing is NOT ‘fake it til you make it,’ or pretending you’re something you’re not or lying about how much money you’ve made.

It is more about the people that you can help with recommended solutions, tools and marketing strategies that help your prospects.

Step 2 Define Your Audience

Who is it that you want to serve?

Who is your ideal client or prospect?

With laser focus, you’ll save time and money.

Step 3 Understanding Your Audience’s Biggest Challenges

Once you define your target audience, take some time to research and write down their biggest challenges, problems, and pains.

The truth is there are lots and lots of people with those struggles. Once you have clarity on your target market, you’ll realize opportunity is everywhere.

Remember this process…

3. Consistently create content that addresses their challenges and pains every single day

STEP 4 –  Create Content that Addresses Your Audience’s Challenges

OK, now that you have clarity on who your target audience is and you have uncovered your audience’s top challenges, problems, and pains, it is time to create VALUABLE content for your audience. I would encourage you to do it daily.

The format is not important.

All of these work: videos, facebook posts, blog posts, Instagram pics and stories… this content can be FREE PDF downloads, how-to infographics, cheat-sheets, audios, interviews… ANYTHING.

Remember that your content MUST educate and ideally entertain at the same time but, most importantly provide solutions to your prospects.

ENTREPRENEURS ARE A PROFESSIONAL PROBLEM SOLVERS… YOU are a Professional Problem Solver.

STEP 5 – Build a Relationship With Your Audience

When people know you, like you and trust you they are more likely to buy from you.

It’s actually quite simple…

CONNECT WITH YOUR PROSPECT (yes, actually have a conversation with them like they are another human being via messenger, slack, Skype, or on the phone… what a concept!)

For a majority of your prospects, in order for you to ‘close the sale,’ you are going to have to build trust… and built a RELATIONSHIP.

And you build that relationship by dripping on them a steady flow of content THEY would want to consume, that addresses THEIR challenges.

Once they get that you get where they are and you are sharing information that helps them, you will start to gain trust.

STEP 6 – Uncover Their Pain & Provide the Painkiller

The best way to uncover each individual prospect’s pain is to connect and actually talk with them and connect with. Let them know you can help them or point them to solutions that can help them.

No one expects you to be the “know al expert”.

When you talk to them find their biggest problem, and provide the perfect solution (possibly point them to your product or service).

Here’s a surprising fact. The VAST MAJORITY of marketers never call their leads, and then complain they aren’t making any money.

If you simply take the time to reach out and connect with your prospect who opted into your website or connected with you on Facebook messenger or anywhere else… you will stand out from your competitors, you will be unique in your marketplace, and you will eventually win.

And you are losing money if you are not connecting with and taking the time to discover what each individual prospect TRULY wants and needs.

Step 7: Embrace Multiple Income Streams & Make Money From the 90% Who Say NO

If you only have one revenue stream, it’s going to be difficult to create financial freedom online.

ALL top earners online embrace multiple income streams that serve their audience… It’s just smart business.

If you are with a company where you are only allowed to market ONE solution, you are going to be in trouble.

That’s like putting all of your eggs in ONE basket and hoping for the best.

Zero diversification. Massive risk. It isn’t smart business. And YOU are the one who has to provide for your family (not your MLM company).

Can you imagine if McDonald’s was only allowed to sell hamburgers?! They would go broke! (and so will you if you continue to try and build your business with handcuffs on!)
McDonald’s makes their profits from all the other stuff you buy once you are in the restaurant: the upsell on the fries, soda, ice cream etc.

In fact, the most profitable upsell in the history of the world is…

Would you like fries with that?

Here’s why multiple income streams are a big part of the proven ’Attraction Marketing Method,’ and why you need them if you want any chance of success…

I used to market my business opportunity up front because that’s what the company told me to do (this was before I found the information you’re reading right now).

And here’s what happened:  If my prospect wasn’t interested in my business opportunity, which was 90% of everyone I exposed to the presentation, that was the end of the road!
The relationship was over because all I had to offer was my business opportunity.

I started wrapping my head around creating VALUE for my audience, and started focusing on what THEY want…

Versus just pitching my business opportunity to everyone I met…

If someone was NOT interested in my specific business opportunity, but they already had a business, or were looking to start one… I knew that they would need to learn traffic, and how to make money with their business via the internet.

So my partners and I built an education platform & solution that would do just that (don’t worry, you won’t have to!)

Imagine if all day you are connecting with your audience of entrepreneurs, and 90% of them are not interested in your specific business opportunity…

But instead of just saying bye-bye to 90% of your prospects…

What if you could still connect with, serve, build a relationship with, and offer the 90% a SOLUTION that solves the problems they already encounter (or will inevitably encounter) as a home business owner?

ALL BUSINESS OWNERS REQUIRE LEADS AND MONEY – so what if you could ask the people who say NO to your opportunity a very simple question…

“How are you doing with generating leads for your business?”
Or…
“Ok, no problem… would you by chance be interested in learning how to get an extra 12+ fresh, interested, quality prospects each day for YOUR business?”
