If you are marketing online then you absolutely MUST have a blog.

Why?

You need to be seen and respected as an authority.  After all you are in business aren’t you?

There is a a problem that most people or ‘gurus’ don’t tell you about.

First, you have to get quality traffic to your blog.  If you have gone through my 8 Social Media Bootcamp you already know that with social media there are several proven methods to create and drive traffic for FREE.

Second, and perhaps the bigger problem is getting people to opt-in or how to get subscribers to your list.

If you haven’t heard the expression “The Money Is In Your List” well make note of that.

It is mostly true.  LOL

What is really important is the relationship you have with the people on the other side of those emails.  Yes, they are real people.

Treat them with respect and kindness and you will earn their trust.

So exactly how do you do that?

You demonstrate your value by offering proven tis and strategies that will help them solve the problems they face in their business.  You make it about them NOT you.

Every online marketer and I don’t care what you are are marketing needs customers. Done properly, many of these customer will come from your blog.

“Twitter Badge” refers to the official Javascript codes that display badges of Twitter. It shows what you are posting on Twitter. This can be a good tool for your WordPress blog. It will help your readers to find out that you are posting on Twitter.

“Tweetback” is an interesting tool for you to use on Twitter. If you know about pingback in WordPress, then this will be simple to understand. This is like a pingback for Twitter. This service pingbacks to any blog posting with the direct tweet url. It’s a good tool for creating links back to any blog post.
