The fact is most people will not make sacrifices and have the self discipline to earn, yes I said earn a six or seven figure income.

Success and material things begins with your inner game. The skills you have and how you think. My last post was an offer for 30 minutes of free coaching. Some people submitted their info, but, most did not.

If you are like me, you would love to have more income streams!

How about international streams of income?

Yea BABY!

Unfortunately, it is very easy to get into information overload.  Often in our desire to succeed we get caught up in our “stinkin’ thinkin” and this does not serve us well.

I remember a time when I was stuck in my business at $5,000/ month and simply could not break through.

It was as though I was in a bubble and when I was about to break through it…I would be bounced back to were I started. It was so frustrating.

It turned out that I was getting in my own way…do you know anyone like that?  Hmm…?

I hired a coach. Her name was Sonia.  She said, “Terry for things to change, you must change.  For things to get better, you must  get better.”

Another one of my coaches, Terri told me to I needed to quit pushing and convincing people to do this business. She said, I needed to hanging around and attracting my ideal business partners.

I didn’t even know who they were.

Big mistake telling Terri that because the next thing she told me to do was to define that.

I did it.

To this day, I have 3 x5 card on my desk to remind me of who I’m looking for.

What to know the 4 characteristics I look for?

1) They are Passionate
2) They are Results Driven
3) They have a Vision for Success
4) They have Leadership Ability

Having  a great coach and mentor is KEY to your success.

I’ve come to realize over the past 17 years that success and financial freedom is really up to me to create.

No one else is going to do it for me.

I’ve also learned (eventually, I’m kinda slow some times) that it is critically important to create multiple streams of income to protect my family’s financial security.

I want all of this for you. And you CAN have it all. But, you must change. (sound familiar?)

The past couple of years has truly changed the global economy and the world we live in. We must adapt or be sucked into the doom and gloom of the common sheep like thinking that most people have.

Not likely.

And that is PERFECT.

If you are like myself and many, many others . . . the truth is . . . you will not develop your online business right the first time.

We all make mistakes.

In fact, rarely do people accomplish anything right the first time they attempt it.  This is called being human; it is part of the fabric of life.  It is in the doing, the making of mistakes that we learn many valuable life and business lessons.

When I first got started in my first home business I did it wrong.

Some would say I was a success.

In fact, the CEO of the company said I would be the first person in the company to earn a million dollars.

You see, we had different interpretations of success.   His was products sales and enrollments.  Mine was  “Quality of Life” being with my family.

That year I was awarded “New Director of the Year” out of 65,000 people.

An award was not what I was looking for.  I was looking for a way that I could be home with my family and create a solid income.

The cost of this award was too much.  I had spent too much time away from them.  So, I sold my business and moved on to another business.  That one didn’t work out financially so I moved on.  And you know what . . . that one didn’t work out financially either.

I spent three and half years, trying my very best to create a business so I could create the quality of life I dreamed about.

Was this process frustrating? You bet it was. But, I was not giving up.

I had good intentions and I worked very hard but my thinking, my execution and my choices in companies were simply wrong.  My paycheck made that VERY clear.

I had to take full responsibility for my decisions and my results.  I knew that if I was going to be a success then it was up to me and only me.

My question for you is . . .

Do you take full responsibility for where you are in your business?

Do you take full responsibility for the quality of the relationships you have in your business and in your personally life?

Most people don’t.

If that is you.  The time has come to create some shifts.  No more blaming others. You must look at the part you play in bad relationships.

One of my coaches told me very bluntly, “Terry, for things to change, you must change.  For things to get better you must get better.”

Initially that was a tough pill to swallow.  I soon realize that she was right.

I became more determined.

I continued to feed my vision for success.  I studied successful people.  I studied their habits, their characteristics and then modeled them as best I could.

I did two more things . . . I had laser focus on my goals and I took action.

I gave it my all.

I worked on me.

The result . . .

Today, I have the lifestyle most people dream about. I have created a multi-million dollar business in twelve countries and I surround myself with high quality people who enjoy helping others, personal growth and skill set development.

My two kids have had two full-time stay at home parents from middle school through high school.  They are now both in their twenties.  And I’m proud to say that they are awesome people.

That is the pay out I was looking for.

And it was totally worth all the extra professional work, self-study and personal growth that I had to do.  I am not the person I was 15 years ago.

Where are you in your business?  What types of people do you attract?

If you are struggling with your business then odds are that you have more growing to do.  And that’s perfect.

Do you have a plan for growing personally, growing professionally, enhancing your skill sets and shifting your thinking?  If not, get one right away!

Odds are that you need a good coach and a support network that can help you during these challenging growth times.

Find them.

That’s your responsibility.

I encourage you to look at your thinking.  Realize that your current thinking has created your current lifestyle.  And if you don’t like it then you must change it.

Just know that if I can create these shifts in my life, you can too.

I believe in you . . . lot’s of people do.  It is time for you to show up differently.
