What do successful people in the MLM Profession have in common?

When you study the successful people in the MLM profession or for that matter any professional you will always find some common threads to pay attention to.

Successful people have habits that take them closer to their goals. I have found it to be true in running a marathon and in building a successful MLM business.

The people who accomplish running a 26.2 mile marathon or building a team of 10,000 sales reps do what most people won’t do. The unsuccessful are that way typically because they quit.

Quitters will never become winners.

As for running a marathon, success comes from proper nutrition, hydration, consistent training during the week followed by a long run on the weekend.

I know a lot of people who talk about running a marathon and even start to run 3, 5 or even 9 miles. They buy all the fancy clothes the new running shoes, the water belts, the Garmin watch to track the distance and their speed only to never actually run a full marathon because they quit.

It can be hard and challenging big time.

I have to admit; running 18, 20, or 26-mile practice runs takes a lot of effort.  You end up with a bunch of soar muscles, sometimes you will barely be able to walk the next day but you must keep at it if you want to reach your goal of running and completing a full 26.2 mile marathon. It is an awesome feeling.

Success is something that is achieved by the minority.

It is unnatural, odd and weird to the majority.

Many people will say, what’s the point of running 26.2 miles anyways? It is too much work. You are crazy!

Building a successful home-based business is a lot of work!

And people will think and say you are crazy! LOL!

Building a successful home based-business requires sacrifice, extra effort and skill set development.

For most, it brings up all your limited thinking. That is not comfortable or fun.

I remember the first time I heard the expression; your business will only grow as fast as you do.

I did not get it at first.

What I later realized is your thinking, influences your actions and habits and your results.

Having the proper mindset is the critical component to any success.

This is an area that most newbies over look.

The fact is successful people are influenced by the desire to accomplish positive outcome.  They work very hard to create a vision for success and accomplishment.

Unsuccessful people are influenced by the desire for pleasing methods (staying comfortable) and are satisfied by doing things that they like to do.  These are not usually things that taken them closer to their goals.

Success is acquired through good habits.

Success habits in our profession are: prospecting, presentations, follow-ups and enrollments.

At the end of the day you should ask yourself, “How many people did I share my products or business with today?”

“Winners Focus on Winning”

“Losers Focus on Getting By”

What are you focused on?

I read a quote many years ago and it has stuck with me ever since – “Winners never quit, and quitters never win”

This is a quote that I have tried to live by, in everything I do, and it is a quote I am currently living by in my NM business. I will persevere until I have that residual income cheque in my sweaty palms! I will not quit, until I have the lifestyle and financial freedom that I and my family deserve, and in the process of achieving it, my hope is that I will have taken quite a few people with me on the journey!
