How to Create Your Own Social Network

If you are a leader or would like to be a serious leader then you MUST position yourself and demonstrate that you walk your leadership talk.

I’m shocked at the number of people I see who are full of BS. They have no idea what true leadership is about…but that’s another post!  HA!

Leadership means you have influence.

Leadership means you offer value to others.

One of the easiest and most powerful ways for you to establish yourself as a leader is by creating your own social network.

Sound hard?

How can you do this?

It’s easy with Ning.com

This social media platform is free (we like that right?) and easy to setup and use.  Don’t be fooled and think that this is a insignificant tool because it can be very robust!

Watch the video below to learn more.

I highly encourage you to create your own network–today!

People will join and follow you because you have something to say and you are a leader.  People love belonging and your goal is to create a community.

You HAVE influence and the time has come to STEP UP and use your leadership.  You can do this! Don’t make it about you, make it about a vision and a mission.

I hope you enjoyed this content.

If so, please retweet it and leave me a comment below.

You won’t be hearing from me for a week or so.  I’ll be gone for the next week to Hawaii for a Leadership conference.   I go to every year (at least for the last 10 years) for free.   Life is good.

If you would like rewards like this then it is time for you rto step up as a leader.  If you need support, just ask.  I’m here for you.

And please… if you haven’t yet please join the Remarkable Life network!

Terry- I have never heard of Ning. What is the difference between Ning and Facebook.
I am learning how to set up a Page and Landing page with Facebook.
Is it easier than Facebook? Or can you use both in parallel to each other?

Hi Bernadette, Ning is a community that you can create for your own following. You own it. You control it. The down side is it is not as easy to get new friends. Both offer different functions. FB is much more popular.

Think of it this way Ning gives you the ability to create a mini facebook.

It lots of fun! Be sure to google groups in each to find your target market.

      Hope that helps.
