I want to talk to you…

Personal Development

Where are you in your life and in your business?

I mean really?

Have you created the quality of life that you really want or are you struggling in one or more areas.

The truth is for things to change, you must change.

For things to get better you must get better.

But, HOW you might ask?

Who do you hang out with?

First, look at who you are spending time around.  Do you they help you get closer to accomplishing your goals or are they keeping you where they are.

Someone once said, show me your friends and I will know your character and habits.

Do you need to start hanging out with some new people?

I personally believe that regardless of your circumstances, background or past success you can develop yourself and your income IF you have two things:

  • a burning desire to make a change
  • a willingness to work

It’s also about continually learning to go to the next level.
It’s constantly adjusting your thinking and actions.
It is a funny thing but your thoughts do become your actions.

No you will NOT be perfect.

You will make lots of mistakes. Every successful entrepreneur does. It’s not if you will fall down it how fast you will get up.

Learn to do the uncomfortable things until they become comfortable then do it again and again.

Shift your thinking and the questions you ask yourself.

For example, instead of saying this won’t work, say to yourself this is why this works.

Or instead of saying, “How can I build a team of 1,000 reps?”  ask yourself  “How did I create a team of 1,000 reps.” In that question, you will find the answers and the actions you need to take to create that result.

You might think you cannot earn six or seven figures in network marketing.
You can.
There are thousands of people who have done it.

Network Marketing Truth:

What you do today does not show up in term of income until later.

Right, now I am starting and looking for people to join me in an all out 90 day Blitz of activity. I know that the people who want to make some serious money in 2013 will do so because of the “work” they do over they next 90 days.

How many people did you talk to today?

Was it 1 or 10?

Or was it none?

It matters.

Do you need a new team that empowers you? Where the activity and the energy are high…

Qualifying People

I qualify the people that I work with.

For what?

I qualify people for their desire, willingness and attitude.

After 18 years, I know it takes a lot of work on my part to develop leaders.  And by the way, if you were hoping to recruit a leader it doesn’t happen that way, you must develop them.

The bottom line — take responsibility.

You must take responsibility for where you are and where you are not.

If you are looking for a better, faster way to create your ideal lifestyle then join me in my 90 blitz. Call me at 919-528-9162, we’ll discuss your goals and ambition to see if you qualify to have a long term business relationship with me.

Won’t it be cool if 2013 was your best year ever?

If you have questions or comments please leave them below. PLEASE share this post with your team members and your other friends in the network marketing profession. They will THANK YOU!

    Hi Terry,

What an excellent ‘Wake Up’ post to Network Marketers!

I have been in Network Marketing since 2003, used to do it on a very part-time basis until I finished my university course. 2009 was the year that I thought I was doing the business full time but I was just kidding myself! I actually had a good year of part-time businss and plenty of social time!

2010 was the year that I spent a lot of time exploring more effective ways in growing my business online. By October 2011, I eventually settled with a great online training and marketing platform. You are absolutely right that a burning desire to make a change AND a willingness to work
are the keys to success! I am happy to be on this fascinating journey!

You know what? I love your word ‘work’ in the phrase ‘a willingness to work’. Learning is great. Learning without work is NOT EFFECTIVE LEARNING. In Network Marketing, we get good at doing! Not listening, watching or role playing with our mentor!

Work and Prosper. Success is predictable!

    • Terry Petrovick Says:

      Thank you Viola.

Sometimes we get so business that we forget what we are doing and why we are doing it. I like to think about my work and if I would hard me based on what I produce. At the end of the day, it is all about production and results.

See you at the top! And thanks again for stopping by.

    Hey Terry,

Great post. Mindset is everything. One day I finally realized you can’t have success as long as you worry more about what other people think about than what you think of yourself. Sefl-confidence is a priceless tool when it comes to network marketing. And listen fellow marketers we are the ones who have an opportunity that others need. We don’t need a prospect to join us. The prospect needs what we have to offer.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

    • Terry Petrovick Says:

      Thanks for stopping by James.

Yes, I totally agree with you man, it is all about mindset…and taking action.

What has been your personal biggest challenge as you work to build your business?

  3. David Sharp Says:

I’m sure you will get the people you want to work with Terry. Who we mix with is very important and for Jane and I living in Crete has been a bit of a challenge. To counter the negative folk around here, I spend a lot of my working time listening to audio from people like yourself, Ray Higdon, Tony Robbins amongst others. Oh, and we plan to move to London next year.

I feel honored to know you, thanks.

Numis’ 90 Day Blitz is extremely awe inspiring. I truly believe there are going to be a lot of people’s lives that will change for the better because of it. I, among others, are so grateful for the leadership role you have taken in this great company. I love your Numis videos and have even used some of them on my own blog, since you come from such a position of authority.

Thank you for adding such value to the Numis community!

This is true. Thoughts become actions. I learned of a 90 day blitz last week. I watched the video series, did some reading in many topics, and took many notes and lots of writing about what I have been learning. I’m now making a plan of action so I can work on implementing the steps.

    Great posts on the talk

  6. Alan Turner Says:

Terry, work is at the heart of anything we do. And when I say anything, I mean you can have anything you want, but you have to be willing to work for it! Many are not!

I first discovered Network Marketing in 1996, but failed miserably at it while spending 14.5k on products to get me to the next level, most of which I chucked in the bin when they expired!

I realised, and only recently that I have a desire to help people succeed where I have in the past failed, to get them to the point we all want to get to – freedom, whether it be from a job, financial or otherwise!

In answer to your question above, I am focusing on getting enough no’s in my business so as to be generating the yes’s. And secondly, to ensuring that I am working on my business and not in it as I too often find these days!

    • Terry Petrovick Says:

      Hi Alan,

      Thanks for stopping by.

And yes, I totally agree with you about working.

The key in recruiting is to say NO first.
