When is the last time your character and vision for your mission been tested?
The night before last mine was tested more than almost anytime I can remember.
Here’s what happened…
Yesterday morning I got up and I was amazingly calm because I knew with every fiber in me that I was going to continue following my passion.
When I woke up in bed I gave gratitude for everything that had. From my health, to finances, to family and yes even my challenges.
I was ready to take on the day.
The funny thing was my wife’s description of me to her friends. She said “Terry is eerily calm”.
I guess it is all that personal development I’ve been doing. lol
As I started checking my emails tat morning, I was hoping for a response from the technical support guys I emailed the night before I got this email. Here’s the first email I read.
I saw it as confirmation that all was going to be ok
Thanks Angie for you timing and praise.
Yesterday, was indeed a real roller coaster ride with the technical support guys.
First we thought was all restored then noticed my TerryPetrovick.com blog was not. So, he deleted everything and installed, my TerryPetrovick.com was now up but all my videos were missing. Then after a few more tweaks everything settled down.
The lessons here are:
1) If you have a blogs or websites online, be sure you back them up. I’ve had my TerryPetrovick.com going since 2008 and the thought of losing everything was gut wrenching.
2) Backup your computer weekly, if not daily. If is not worth the risk or expense of not doing this.
3) Know that you are bigger then any problem.
4) Stay true to your vision no matter what the obstacles.
I’m super glad I can share with your today because this means TerryPetrovick.com is up and running again. Yea!
If this has been insightful please leave me a comment.
Let me ask you, what was one of your biggest challenges that you over came? How did you feel and handle the process?

Hi Tony,
Life always throws bumps in the road, it is about moving through them that counts. Ideally, handling them with ease and grace.
Make it a better than terrific day!

WOW Terry great attitude in the face of a disaster.
As a regular ‘Terry Watcher’ I know how much you put into your blog & can only guess how beneficial it is to your business success. I totally freaked when a similar thing happened to me (my site was hacked) & I had to rebuild from scratch, it was a new site with only about 3 months of content but was a major disruption. These things are made to test our resolve & to learn from the experience. I now use wptwin to backup my sites.
Great post Terry on self belief. Thanks for sharing
Regards Steve
PS Looks like you have made a full recovery

Thanks Steve!
As it turned out it could have been a lot worse.
But, isn’t that the way most things are.
No matter what happens with the technology stuff, our character will always be with us.
I think the best thing we can do is to build that.
Best of Success,
Terry

Holy Cow Terry what a mess. I probably would have freaked out. But the big question is what kind of wine did you have. What kind of wine goes with a tech disaster. White or red. Thanks for video and the positive spirit. Hope all is well. My best to Amy.
