My message to you today is about making mistakes and knowing who to follow.

I have been full time in the industry for 17 years. That means I have made a lot of mistakes, spent time with the wrong people and probably made every leadership mistake you can make.
All so I could share with you my story. Not really, I’m not that smart. I’m just a simple guy.
What I can tell you is if you have a vision of success and you are passionate about what you do AND you are willing to work on yourself you too can become a million dollar income earner like I am.

You mentioned starting a new business…I hope you’re still in the one I knew you by.
Great video, my leads didn’t work either but I stopped at 20 expensive leads and knew in my heart that this was not the way to go. I was good but they were, well, loosers.
I saved your emails and just started your series on social networking…I already know that THIS is the way to go for me! Thanks Terry!

You know…you are not the first person that has described some leads like that.
Go through my Social Media Secrets Bootcamp a couple of times, take lots of notes. Then I suggest if you are serious about learning social media and online marketing to use the 7 figure networker system for your online education. It is the best I have seen.

I would suggest you devote more time to twitter if that is your primary marketing method. Double your efforts. Work to develop relationships with people. Begin by retweeting their posts. Be proactive and ask people if they would like to be in your tribe so you and everyone in the tribe can support each other.

Remember Rome was not built in a day. Consistent action and adding tremendous value to other people is one of the secrets to success.

Yes, it is so true information overload is easy to experience for sure. I’m listen to a John Maxwell audio right now. A big take home point is to begin your day with 5 key actions to focus one.
This is very true for us. I’ll share more on than in a upcoming post.

I like your analogy about how your wife invested $90 to get $100′s of dollars worth of food in a few months.
It’s so funny how many people seem to “fantasize” about “investing” a million dollars and going into debt to get into one of the popular franchise restaurants or stores. But they scream like you’re robbing them when you tell them that they would need to “invest” a couple of hundred dollars into a network marketing company which has dozens or 100′s of successful people.

We must invest in ourselves and in our business.
IF an only if we want a sizable return. There is NO FREE LUNCH.
My take on this has become pretty easy. If people aren’t willing to invest in themselves or their business, they are not the person I will invest my time it.

Our industry has so much to offer anyone who is willing to gt after it. It hasn’t always been easy for me but after working for the past 18 years at home and my kids having two full time parents all I can say is WOW!
