Here’s a truth… We all have to make a living some how.
The reason I got involved with this industry was to improve the Quality of Life for my family.
How about you, why did you get started and why are you in this industry?
When I first got started, I worked my butt off trying to create the financial abundance and quality of life I dreamed about. In my first company, I was awarded New Director of the Year out of about 65,000 people. That was back in 1995. The CEO of the company flew down to North Carolina and told me that I was going to be the first first person to earn a million dollars in that company. I looked at the trends and I could never see it happening. I realized it was time to make a change.
I got in involved with two other companies and just could not get the business to grow. The trends did not look good so, it was time for a change. You see I knew my desired outcome and I was not heading in that direction.
Then I got involved with a wellness company. I thought that I would build that business for the rest of my life. I loved the products, the people and the mission. I climbed to the top quickly.
In 2005, I become a member of the Million Dollar Club and have been a top income earner for over ten years. In fact, I still am.
The truth is things change.
As in all areas of life, companies change,compensation plans change, business environments change and relationships change.
I was naive at one point in my professional life and did not believe this truth. But, with age comes wisdom. HA!
Once again, the trends did not look good.
In March 2010, I had another realization.
If I was going to meet my financial goals (time goes by so fast, I’m almost 53) I had to change things. And do it quickly because the current trends were not pretty.
Why?
The reason is the same.
To improve the quality of life for my family.
We now have a grandchild on the way, due to arrive in October and Amy and I want to be there as much as we possibly can.
Some call it divine intervention, others refer to it as providence, I called being open to receive and smart enough to take action.
Numis Network came into my life.
I did my due diligence on Numis and was blown away. The deeper I looked the better it looked.
Here’s why I joined Numis…
My belief is the best way help the poor is to not be one.
The path we chose can be easy or it can be difficult.
Note: It does not have to be difficult.
It is interesting to observe people and the relationships they have and the choices they make. Some people seem to have it all going for them while others seem to struggle, have drama and a constant challenges.
I believe life is about choices.
I have found that success people do things differently then unsuccessful people. It is the slight edge in activity and choices that make a difference in who we become and the lifestyle we create.
One of my challenges is that I am loyal to a fault. I’ve always been that way. But, at the end of the day, I get strength and courage because I know it is about caring for and protecting my family.
Amy and I just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary. We are so excited about life and so grateful for everything that we have and everything that is front of us. The trends look amazing!
My mission in business is to help as many people as I can to create the quality of life they desire. It is not always easy but it sure is worth it.
What I want for you is to have everything you desire.
What do you want for you? What are you willing to do to get it? Will you chose the path of least resistance? Will you use slight edge thinking?
Time will tell.

Actually I spent over 14 years with my previous company and have built an organization of over 37,000 people.
As I mentioned in my post, at the end of the day you have to be honest with yourself and ask the hard question…
Is this business model, in this environment going to enable me to create what I need for my family in the time frame I need?
If not, something has to change. You can believe this was not an easy decision but I believe it was the right thing for my family.
I’m thrilled with my decision. This business is easy compared to what I have done in the past. Everyone sees value in Gold and Silver assets!
