Facebook Marketing is one of the best methods for you to grow your business!
It is also one of the most misused and misunderstood marketing methods on the planet!
Most people struggle with what to say, how do you blend the personal side of relationship building with marketing and the pure business conversations.
The desperate and novice marketers spam everyone about their business opportunity and products, they end up alienating their friends and family members. Not too smart.
Do you know anyone like that? LOL!
Other people are very private and guarded about what they share and who they share it with, so they don’t.
Some folks create multiple Facebook accounts which takes way too much time but . . . for them it is worth it.
I get asked all the time, “How do I separate my business and personal posts on Facebook?”
There is a solution to the problem, it’s…
Facebook’s Publisher Privacy Controls
When I first heard of this facebook marketing tip, I was excited! It makes so much sense.
It’s called creating a “Friend List” and if you are smart and I know you are, starting today you will want to start implementing this strategy.
Knowing about a marketing tip is one thing, actually knowing how to implement it is another. You need to know how to:
- create a list
- edit a list
- delete a list
- post messages to a list
This is exactly what you are about to learn.
I have to tell you it took me several Google searches before I figured this all out.
Bonus Tip
And before I continue, remember this … any problem you want to find the answer to … just enter
into the Google search box your question.
For example, “How to add a friend list on Facebook?”
There is a really good chance that someone has not only solved your problem but has written about it. This applies to everything…computer problems, apple pie recipes, best plamsa TV etc..
OK, Let’s jump in…
If this information has been helpful to you…please do things

Terry, List building on Facebook was easy for me, but I hadn’t learned the strategy for sharing a message to one particular group. Your video explained it clearly. Thanks for helping me get better organized on Facebook

Terry,
Great post! I tell the people that I coach that think of lists as your sales funnel. My lists I have “internet marketing,” “Tribe,” “Friends,” etc. and my internet marketing list is my general list that I use to group all business minded people that I meet in Facebook. This tells me I have the opportunity to get to know them better and see if they are someone I would want to or have the ability to work with in the future. From there I can find out who’s a player and who’s not!
Thanks for posting this! This is one of those easy things that is often overlooked.

Thanks Terry for the quick, very helpful lesson. You validate my concern for not over-communicating on fb, but using a strategy to share appropriately and effectively.

Hi Kathy,
Quality communications always trumps quantity. This is vitally important and a fact many amateurs really do not understand.
Thanks for all you do!

Terry:
Thanks for the valuable information. Facebook seems to be one of those sites that is a little more difficult to figure some of this stuff out. Like you have just done, sharing information and providing value to others is what attracts people to you, not chasing them with your opportunities!

Thanks for the FaceBook tip. I always enjoy your home biz stuff. The net is truly a gift for building a worldwide business and friendships.
It is great fun to join up with people in person you have met on the net. I recently met a chap from South Africa that connected with on FaceBook when he was traveling through the city I live in in Canada.
Have a great Christmas.

Great post Terry,
I use something simlar for my tribe, again which shows up in Facebook all the comments and posts for my tribe so I can comment and post on their posts.
Another great little tip, which you may already use… I use Google Reader to add the RSS feeds for each of my tribe members so people can see when each person has written a new blog post. I then head on over to their blog and make a comment.
Both great time saving tips.
Hope you are well and speak soon,
Thanks

Hi Terry,
Thanks for the information. I am just starting with Mannatech and wanting to focus my business building on the internet. I have lots of “friends” on FB, but I am wondering where to start. Do I send a message out that I just joined this new business and then create specified lists? Any tips on getting started will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kenni
